HMD has expanded its audio portfolio with the launch of the Dub series, a new lineup of true wireless stereo earbuds aimed squarely at the budget and mid-range market. The Dub range includes six different models — Dub P50, Dub X50, Dub X50 Pro, Dub S60, Dub P60, and Dub P70 — each designed to target slightly different usage needs while keeping pricing accessible. The series has now begun rolling out globally, with early availability confirmed in parts of Southeast Asia.
Rather than focusing on a single flagship, the Dub lineup spreads features across multiple price tiers. At the upper end sits the Dub X50 Pro, which includes active noise cancellation alongside environmental noise cancellation for calls. It supports multipoint connectivity, allowing users to stay connected to two devices at once, and offers a claimed total battery life of up to 60 hours when used with the charging case. A low-latency mode is also included, positioning it as a practical option for casual gaming and video consumption rather than a specialist audio product.

The Dub X50 drops active noise cancellation but retains environmental noise cancellation and multipoint support, while extending total battery life to an estimated 70 hours. This model appears positioned as a long-lasting everyday option rather than a feature-heavy one. Both X50 models use HMD’s in-house “Platinum Sound” tuning and fast charging support, though exact codec details have not been disclosed.
For users more focused on sound tuning than noise cancellation, the Dub S60 introduces Dolby Audio support with adjustable EQ modes through HMD’s companion app. Battery life is rated at around 35 hours in total, placing it in the mid-range of the lineup. Environmental noise cancellation for calls is still present, suggesting a consistent baseline for voice clarity across the series.
The Dub P70 and P60 lean toward bass-focused tuning and simplified feature sets. The P70 adds active noise cancellation and reaches roughly 35 hours of playback, while the P60 drops ANC in favor of lighter weight, low-latency mode, and voice assistant support, with around 30 hours of battery life. The most compact option, the Dub P50, is aimed at casual users and commuters, offering approximately 25 hours of total playback along with ENC and low-latency support.

All six models carry an IPX4 rating, making them suitable for workouts and light exposure to sweat or rain. Color options vary by model, with several dual-tone finishes offered in the lower-priced variants.
Pricing has so far been confirmed for select models in the Philippines, with the Dub P60 listed at approximately $24, the Dub S60 at $32, and the Dub X50 at around $34. Broader regional pricing and availability details are expected to follow as the rollout expands.
Overall, the Dub series reflects HMD’s effort to cover multiple entry-level audio segments rather than competing directly with premium earbuds. The focus is on practical features, long battery life, and basic noise handling, positioning the lineup as an affordable alternative for users who want modern wireless earbuds without committing to higher-end pricing.
