Hisense will introduce its latest laser TV, the L9Q, at CES 2025, promising exceptional brightness and immersive audio. This ultra-short throw projector boasts Hisense’s TriChroma triple-laser light engine, which the company claims can surpass the BT.2020 color space and achieve 5,000 lumens of brightness with a 5,000:1 contrast ratio.

The L9Q offers a range of screen sizes from 100 to 150 inches and features AutoScreen Alignment and Manual Keystone Correction for easy setup. Its integrated 6.2.2 surround sound system delivers a Dolby Atmos audio experience.

Hisense claims the L9Q can achieve 1,500 nits of full-screen brightness when paired with its ultra-bright 2.9-gain screen. This level of brightness is significantly higher than what is typically seen in home theater projectors.

The L9Q also includes a host of smart features, such as Google TV, eARC, HDMI 2.1, Wi-Fi 6E, and Nextgen TV (ATSC3.0) support.

While pricing and availability have not yet been announced, the L9Q is expected to be a premium product. As a reference, the previous generation of this laser TV launched at $5,500.Sources and related content
