Google is giving university students in Egypt and Saudi Arabia a major boost: a free one-year subscription to Gemini Pro, normally valued at around SAR 860 (7,000 EGP). The offer, available until November 3, 2025, gives eligible students full access to Google’s premium AI suite, turning Gemini into a powerful study, research, and content-creation tool.
What the free Gemini Pro plan includes
Students who sign up will unlock:
- Unlimited image uploads with Gemini 2.5 Pro for assignments and research assistance
- Deep Research for generating tailored reports from across the web
- NotebookLM upgrades with enhanced audio and video summarization
- Veo 3, Google’s tool for creating short AI-generated videos with sound
- 2 TB of cloud storage across Google Drive, Photos, and Gmail
The combination of unlimited uploads, research tools, and large storage makes this particularly valuable for handling everything from lecture notes to group projects, presentations, and even creative side work.
How to claim the offer
Google is working with local partners to verify and distribute the free subscriptions:
- In Egypt, the program is backed by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research
- In Saudi Arabia, it’s supported by the International Center for AI Research & Ethics (ICAIRE)
To register, students need to:
- Visit the official Gemini Pro student offer page before November 3, 2025
- Sign in with a valid student email or provide other proof of enrollment
- Activate their free subscription, which will remain valid for 12 months from the start date

While the deal is currently limited to Egypt and Saudi Arabia, Google has indicated plans to expand to more countries in the near future.
