Eufy claims top robotic vacuum position in MEA for third year

The Middle East and Africa robotic vacuum market continues to expand, driven by rising demand for automated home cleaning and broader smart home adoption. Within that context, eufy, a smart home brand owned by Anker Innovations, says it has reached the top position in retail volume across the MEA region for three consecutive years. The company cites retail sales data to support its claim of being the number one robotic vacuum cleaner brand in the region during that period.

While rankings based on retail volume do not necessarily reflect revenue leadership or long-term market share stability, they do indicate sustained consumer uptake. In a category that has become increasingly competitive, consistent volume performance suggests that pricing strategy, retail distribution, and feature positioning are resonating with buyers across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and other MEA markets.

The company’s current regional lineup centers on two models: the eufy E28 and the eufy E25 Robot Vacuum Omni. Both are positioned as hybrid cleaning systems combining vacuuming and mopping functions, with an emphasis on reducing manual intervention.

The E28 is marketed as a 3-in-1 device that integrates robotic vacuuming, HydroJet mopping, and a portable deep cleaner in one system. It delivers up to 20,000 Pa suction power, placing it in the higher range of current consumer robotic vacuum specifications. The HydroJet system applies 1.5 kg of downward pressure during mopping, a feature designed to improve stain removal on hard floors. Additional hardware elements include DuoSpiral auto-detangling brushes intended to reduce hair buildup and a CornerRover arm engineered to improve edge and corner coverage. An accompanying all-in-one station automatically empties dust, washes mop pads, and dries components to minimize maintenance.

The E25 Robot Vacuum Omni offers a similar foundation but with a slightly more streamlined configuration. It includes HydroJet mopping with real-time mop cleaning, 1.5 kg downward pressure, DuoSpiral Detangle Brushes, AI.See obstacle avoidance, and edge cleaning via the CornerRover arm. Like the E28, it is paired with a multifunction station that supports automated cleaning cycles.

These features reflect broader industry trends rather than isolated breakthroughs. Across the robotic vacuum market, manufacturers are prioritizing higher suction ratings, active mop washing systems, automated base stations, and AI-based navigation. The key differentiator often lies not in a single specification but in how consistently these systems perform in real-world environments, particularly in homes with mixed flooring, pets, or high dust levels common in parts of the Gulf region.

Distribution remains central to eufy’s MEA growth strategy. In the UAE, its robotic vacuum models are available through retailers including Jumbo, Sharaf DG, and Virgin Megastore, alongside online platforms such as Amazon and Noon. In Saudi Arabia, the products are sold via Jarir and eXtra stores, as well as Amazon and Noon online. In Qatar, availability includes Lulu and Monoprix outlets. Broad physical and digital retail coverage has likely contributed to the brand’s reported retail volume leadership.

The MEA robotic vacuum segment is expected to remain competitive as regional consumers increasingly invest in smart home cleaning technology. Whether eufy maintains its leading position will depend on continued product reliability, after-sales service, and how effectively it adapts to shifting expectations around automation and connected home ecosystems.
