Dyson is giving owners of its $499 OnTrac headphones a few more ways to personalize their gear. The company has added two new colors each to its lineup of replaceable outer caps and ear cushions, expanding the customization options for those looking to tweak the aesthetics of their high-end headphones.

The OnTrac headphones, launched in mid-2024, were Dyson’s follow-up to the more polarizing Zone headset—a hybrid of headphones and an air purifier that never quite found a mainstream audience. In contrast, the OnTracs are focused on practicality, with strong sound quality and a modular, user-friendly design that allows for swapping out ear pads and caps for a more tailored look.
Now, users can pick up cushions in “Sky Blue” (previously a cap-exclusive shade) and “Caramel,” a brand-new addition. For outer caps, Dyson is introducing “Ceramic Oyster Pink,” which had previously only been available as a cushion color, along with an entirely new “Ceramic Chalk White” option. These additions bring the total palette to ten ear cap choices and nine cushion styles.

It’s a modest update, but one that reinforces Dyson’s strategy of leaning into personalization as a key differentiator. In a market crowded with premium headphones from the likes of Apple and Sony, design flexibility gives the OnTrac line a distinctive angle—especially for consumers who care as much about aesthetics as they do about sound.
Each replacement set of caps or cushions costs $49.99, and they’re available directly through Dyson’s website. While that price point may not appeal to all users, it aligns with the premium nature of the product and its accessory ecosystem.

For those who already own the OnTracs, the new colors offer a way to refresh the look without investing in an entirely new pair. And for anyone considering the headphones, it’s another small point in favor of Dyson’s approach: a high-end listening experience with a side of style flexibility.
