Shoppers at Dubai Mall will have the opportunity to test Dyson products in person as the company hosts a temporary showcase at the Star Atrium from 24 February to 8 March. The activation, branded as the Dyson Podium, is designed as a hands-on retail experience where visitors can try floorcare, air treatment, and haircare devices before purchasing.
The Dubai Mall event centers on live demonstrations rather than static displays. Among the featured home products is the Dyson Spot+Scrub Ai, a floor-cleaning device equipped with stain detection technology that adjusts cleaning intensity in real time. Also on show is the Dyson V16 Piston Animal, developed to handle pet hair and fine dust through high suction power and floor-type sensing. For smaller living spaces, the Dyson HushJet purifier compact will be demonstrated as a bedside air treatment option, operating at lower noise levels while filtering airborne particles as small as 0.3 microns.
Haircare will occupy a prominent part of the showcase, reflecting the category’s continued commercial growth in the Gulf market. Styling stations will offer guided sessions using tools such as the Dyson Airwrap Co-anda 2x multi-styler and dryer, now available in Ceramic Pink as well as limited Red Velvet and Gold finishes. Visitors can also explore Dyson Supersonic Nural, which uses embedded sensors to regulate temperature and reduce heat exposure near the scalp, and the Dyson Airstrait straightener, designed to move from wet to dry styling without hot plates. Professional-focused devices such as the Dyson Supersonic r hair dryer will be demonstrated during scheduled masterclasses.
Two evening masterclasses are planned for 4 March and 8 March between 9:00 and 9:25 pm. Dyson Ambassador Victor Keyrouz will present the Supersonic r and discuss how it differs from earlier Supersonic models in terms of airflow control and professional use. On 8 March, marking International Women’s Day, Creative Stylist Natalie Kasses will lead a session focused on scalp health and practical hair maintenance techniques.
In addition to hardware, Dyson is previewing its expanding hair formulations range. Products such as the Amino leave-in scalp treatment and the Chitosan styling line reflect the company’s broader move into cosmetic-adjacent categories, building on its established appliance portfolio.
The Dubai Mall activation also includes a promotional component, with visitors able to spin a prize wheel during purchases or styling sessions. While limited-time retail events are common across major malls in the UAE, Dyson’s strategy appears focused on experiential retail — encouraging trial before purchase in a market where premium appliances compete on performance claims and long-term durability.
Beyond the event, Dyson products remain available online through dyson.ae and in regional demo stores across Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Riyadh, Dammam, and Qatar. The company, founded in 1993, continues to operate as a privately held technology manufacturer with research and development centers in Singapore and the United Kingdom.
For consumers in the UAE considering upgrades to air purifiers, cordless vacuums, or advanced hair styling tools, the Dyson Dubai Mall showcase offers a temporary opportunity to compare devices in person rather than relying solely on online specifications.
