Disney Plus Coming to 42 new Countries This Summer, Including UAE

Disney+ will launch in 42 countries and 11 territories this summer, the company announced. Among the major new markets, the service will launch in the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia.

The full list of new countries Disney+ will launch this summer includes Albania, Algeria, Andorra, Bahrain, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Egypt, Estonia, Greece, Hungary, Iraq, Israel, Jordan, Kosovo, Kuwait, Latvia, Lebanon, Libya, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Malta, Montenegro, Morocco, North Macedonia, Oman, Palestine, Poland, Qatar, Romania, San Marino, Saudi Arabia, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, South Africa, Tunisia, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, Vatican City and Yemen.

Subscription prices for for the Middle East have not yet been revealed.

Previously, Disney Plus content was exclusively streaming on OSN, but just prior to the announcement, the shows had been removed from the streaming service’s catalogue.

Disney Plus was launched in fall 2019 in the U.S., Canada and the Netherlands and has 118 million subscribers.
