Caviar has introduced a new line of customized luxury smartphones themed around the United Arab Emirates, continuing its strategy of modifying flagship devices with premium materials and region-specific design elements. The collection, led by the “Spirit of UAE,” applies ornamental craftsmanship to mainstream devices like the iPhone 17 Pro and Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra, with pricing that places them firmly in the niche luxury segment.
The Spirit of UAE model is built on the iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max, featuring a gold bas-relief design that depicts the UAE president alongside a map of the country. According to the company, the imagery references a widely circulated social media visual associated with national identity. The design incorporates 18-karat gold for the map and enamel detailing intended to replicate traditional attire. Pricing for this version starts at $10,770 for the 256GB iPhone 17 Pro variant, positioning it well above the base device’s retail cost.

Alongside this, Caviar has introduced the Falcon edition, based on the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra. This model uses a falcon motif—a recurring symbol in Gulf culture—rendered as a raised gold element against a carbon fiber panel. The use of carbon fiber and gold accents reflects the brand’s typical mix of industrial and luxury materials. Unlike the UAE-themed iPhone models, pricing for the Falcon edition has not been publicly listed, suggesting it may vary based on customization or availability.

The third device in the collection, referred to as the Dubai Edition, focuses on the city’s skyline. It features a three-dimensional bas-relief of landmarks such as the Burj Khalifa, finished in a pink gold coating. The body uses titanium with a black PVD finish, a combination often seen in high-end watchmaking and luxury accessories. This version starts at $9,910 and is limited to 19 units, reinforcing its positioning as a collector-oriented product rather than a mass-market offering.

Caviar’s broader portfolio continues to follow a similar pattern, with recent releases including animal-themed gold designs on Samsung devices and Valentine’s-themed iPhones incorporating gold and diamond elements. While these products are based on standard flagship hardware, the added materials and limited production runs significantly increase their cost.
As with most luxury-modified smartphones, the appeal lies less in technological differentiation and more in exclusivity, craftsmanship, and symbolic design. For buyers in markets like the UAE, where personalization and premium materials often carry cultural significance, these devices function as statement pieces rather than practical upgrades over standard models.
