Boult has expanded its audio product lineup in India with the launch of the Fluid X series, marking the company’s entry into the over-ear headphones category. The new series includes two models: the Fluid X and the Fluid X Pro, both designed to offer premium features at accessible price points.

Leading the lineup, the Boult Fluid X Pro is the brand’s first device to integrate both Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) and Environmental Noise Cancellation (ENC), providing users with improved noise reduction for calls and immersive audio experiences. The Pro model is equipped with 40mm drivers powered by Boult’s BoomX technology, delivering sound with deep bass and clear mids and highs, catering to music enthusiasts and professionals alike.

The standard Fluid X also features 40mm BoomX drivers, offering dynamic sound performance similar to the Pro variant but at a more affordable price. Both headphones support Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity with Blink & Pair technology for instant wireless pairing, ensuring quick device connections without complex setup processes.

For gamers, the Fluid X series includes Combat Gaming Mode, which reduces latency to as low as 60ms, providing responsive audio performance that aligns seamlessly with visual gameplay. This makes the headphones suitable not only for entertainment and work calls but also for competitive gaming sessions requiring real-time audio feedback.

The headphones are built with portability and durability in mind. Both models feature foldable designs, adjustable headbands, and rotatable ear cups for better comfort and storage. IPX5 water resistance adds protection against sweat and light splashes, enhancing usability during travel or workouts. Touch controls allow users to manage calls, playback, and volume with simple gestures, while voice assistant compatibility adds convenience for hands-free operation.

In terms of battery life, the Fluid X Pro offers five hours of playback from just a 10-minute charge, supporting users in urgent scenarios, while a full charge ensures extended listening sessions. The standard Fluid X provides up to 60 hours of total playback time, with a 10-minute top-up yielding approximately three hours of use, highlighting its efficiency for day-long usage without frequent recharging.

The Fluid X Pro is available in Raven Black and Skin Beige colour options, while the Fluid X comes in Black, Green, and Ivory White. Both models are currently available for purchase through major e-commerce platforms including Amazon, Flipkart, and Myntra.

With the introduction of the Fluid X series, Boult is aiming to strengthen its position in India’s competitive audio accessories market by combining design, battery efficiency, and enhanced audio performance into its first over-ear headphone offerings.
