Aulumu introduces two protective cases for Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra

Following the release of the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra, accessory makers have begun rolling out updated protection designed specifically for the new flagship. AULUMU is among the first with two cases built for the Galaxy S26 Ultra: the S26U Frosted Case and the S26U Aramid Fiber Case. Both models focus on lightweight construction, MagSafe compatibility, and reinforced camera protection, reflecting current demand for slim designs that don’t compromise everyday durability.

The S26U Aramid Fiber Case is positioned as the thinner of the two. Measuring 1.2 mm in thickness and weighing 27 grams, it uses aramid fiber for structural rigidity while keeping bulk to a minimum. Aramid fiber, commonly used in aerospace and protective equipment, offers strength without significant weight, making it a practical material for premium phone cases. The case also incorporates what AULUMU calls a Cool Hyper Cooling System. This setup combines a silicone thermal pad with an alloy plate intended to redirect heat toward the camera frame. The company estimates a temperature reduction of approximately 1 to 2 degrees Celsius under load. A heat-sensitive layer built into the case visually indicates elevated device temperatures, offering a simple form of real-time monitoring rather than app-based metrics. An integrated magnetic ring supports MagSafe accessories, and an aluminum camera cover reinforces one of the phone’s most exposed areas. The Aramid Fiber Case is listed at $69.98.

The more affordable S26U Frosted Case, priced at $35.98, takes a different approach. It uses a dual-layer IMD (In-Mold Decoration) finish designed to resist scratches and graphic wear over time. The case features a one-piece high-elasticity TPU structure rated for drops up to 1.5 meters. Raised aluminum around the camera module provides added lens protection, while side anti-slip dot texturing aims to improve grip. Metal buttons replace molded TPU keys to deliver more tactile feedback. Like the Aramid model, it includes an integrated magnetic ring for MagSafe compatibility.

Both Galaxy S26 Ultra cases are available starting February 26 through AULUMU’s official website. As the Galaxy S26 Ultra enters the market, third-party manufacturers are increasingly focusing on slimmer builds, magnetic accessory ecosystems, and thermal management enhancements. Whether features like passive cooling layers and temperature indicators provide measurable everyday benefits remains to be seen, but they reflect a broader shift in how case makers are trying to differentiate products in a crowded segment.

For Galaxy S26 Ultra owners evaluating protective options, the decision between these two cases will likely come down to priorities: ultra-thin construction and thermal features, or enhanced grip and drop protection at a lower price point.
