AMC Theatres & noon launch Saudi Arabia’s first cinema after a 35-year ban

AMC Cinemas has announced a strategic partnership with noon, the leading e-commerce platform in the region. noon will be the official platform to sell tickets for the first screening of Black Panther.

The event is expected to attract Saudis from across the kingdom to watch Black Panther at the first and only cinema to open in the country for 35 years.

Once the tickets are sold, the countdown will appear again on the screen until the next show date. Black Panther’s premiere in the kingdom will be for families only for now.

Customers will be able to choose the cinema experience, seat type and number of tickets they want to buy (limited to 6 for now).

Tickets are priced at SAR 75, including the 25% entertainment tax imposed by the General Authority for Audiovisual Media and 5% VAT.

The tickets are scheduled to go live at 12am on Friday 20 April, with the screening at 8:30 pm on the same day.
