Samsung is set to roll out a significant One UI 6.1.1 update, bringing a host of new Galaxy AI features to a wider range of devices. Starting in September, users of the Galaxy S24, S23, S23 FE, Z Fold5, Z Flip5, and Tab S9 series can look forward to enhanced communication, productivity, and creative capabilities.

Breaking Down Language Barriers

Galaxy AI is set to make communication smoother, regardless of language. Interpreter’s Listening Mode now allows for real-time translation in various scenarios, from presentations to casual conversations. Chat Assist’s Composer feature makes drafting emails and social media posts a breeze, generating complete messages tailored to your tone and style.Suggested Replies, previously limited to Galaxy Z Flip6, now lets you respond quickly from your wrist when connected to a Galaxy Watch7 or Galaxy Watch Ultra.

Productivity Boost

Galaxy AI is also set to elevate productivity. Note Assist streamlines note-taking during meetings by offering translation and summarization features, while the new transcript function converts voice recordings into text. You can even translate text within PDF files or images with the PDF Overlay Translation feature. For creative types, Sketch to Image enhances photos based on your sketches, offering a range of options to refine your vision. Circle to Search’s advanced search capabilities now include step-by-step solutions for math problems, and Sound Search lets you identify songs playing around you.

Creativity Unleashed

Galaxy AI aims to put professional-grade content creation within everyone’s reach. Portrait Studio lets you transform portraits into a variety of artistic styles, while Instant Slow-mo enables you to create and share slow-motion videos with ease.

Rollout Timeline

The One UI 6.1.1 update will start rolling out in Korea on September 5th, followed by North America and Europe on September 9th. Other regions and devices will receive the update in the following weeks.

This comprehensive update underscores Samsung’s commitment to making AI more accessible and useful for its users, further blurring the lines between human and machine intelligence to enhance everyday life.
