Acer expanded its wireless router portfolio with two new models designed to cater to diverse needs. The Acer Wave 7, powered by Wi-Fi 7, provides robust coverage and high-speed connectivity for large homes with multiple devices. The Predator Connect W6x, equipped with Wi-Fi 6, prioritizes speed and performance for lag-free online gaming.

Both routers come with Hybrid Quality of Service (QoS) software and the Intel Killer Prioritization Engine, which intelligently identify and prioritize crucial network traffic to optimize speed and minimize latency. They also feature user-friendly interfaces for easy setup and management, along with built-in Trend Micro Home Network Security to protect your network and devices from online threats.

Acer Wave 7: The Future of Home Connectivity

The stylish Wave 7 router leverages the cutting-edge Wi-Fi 7 standard, delivering lightning-fast speeds of up to 6400 Mbps with exceptional reliability and low latency. It offers two configuration options, utilizing either 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz or 2.4 GHz and 6 GHz frequencies to maximize performance based on individual needs.

With 320 MHz channel support and Multi-Link Operation (MLO) technology, the Wave 7 allows devices to communicate simultaneously across different frequencies, significantly boosting throughput and reducing interference. Its mesh system enables seamless expansion by adding access points for comprehensive coverage throughout large homes or spaces.

Predator Connect W6x: Uninterrupted Gaming Performance

Tailored for gamers, the Predator Connect W6x harnesses Wi-Fi 6 technology, delivering speeds up to 6000 Mbps. It boasts a powerful quad-core processor, ample RAM, and ROM, ensuring minimal packet loss for smooth gameplay. A convenient LED indicator displays network connection status.

Gamers can remotely manage their network using the Predator Connect utility app on smartphones or tablets. The router also offers a variety of ports for flexible connectivity.

Pricing and Availability

Both the Acer Wave 7 and Predator Connect W6x will be available in EMEA starting in July, with prices starting at USD 119 and USD 129, respectively. Exact specifications, prices, and availability will vary by region.
