أنا السين: Marilyne & Sultan, Anghami, and a phone-shot creative process

أنا السين is a new track created by Marilyne & Sultan, released with the support of Anghami, and accompanied by a video clip shot entirely on a smartphone. Rather than building a traditional production with separate filming and recording stages, the project documents creation as it unfolds — from early ideas to performance.

The video moves between moments of discussion, experimentation, and delivery without drawing hard lines between preparation and final output. What you see is not a polished reconstruction of the process, but the process itself, captured as it happens.

Using a phone as the sole camera influenced the rhythm of the collaboration. The setup remained lightweight and adaptable, allowing the artists to shift locations, adjust framing, and continue working without stopping to manage equipment. Shooting stayed integrated into the creative flow rather than interrupting it.

The entire clip was filmed on the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7, serving as a single tool for recording visuals and sound while keeping the focus on the artists rather than the gear. The result feels immediate and practical, reflecting how many creators today work outside traditional studio environments.
