Zowie S1 & S2 Review

Most gaming mouse often have RGB bright colors and excellent performance but are not precisely the best low-profile or work-friendly. Turns out the Zowie S1 & S2 might be good candidates for this role.

Zowie S1 on the left & S2 on the right

Both the mice have a black matte finish with a minimalist red Zowie logo on the rear of the mouse. This is appealing if you want the mouse for more than just gaming.

The mouse glides are super smooth, especially on my cloth mouse pad so don’t expect any resistance there. The buttons are super tactile & don’t expect to be making a lot of misclicks as the buttons require a little bit of pressure compared to other mice.

The cable feels sub-par with a standard plastic cable vs. a threaded cable on other gaming mice, but I guess you have to make some concessions for low profile mice.

The scroll wheel is pretty good & I love the larger sized side buttons for my sausage fingers. Both the s1 & s2s surface’s are a grease & oil magnet, which required a lot of cleaning.

The S1 felt big for my hand, so I chose to stick with the S2 more in comparison. There are also two buttons under the mouse to adjust the DPI up to 3200 DPI & pulling rate.

To conclude, both the S1 & S2 are good mice, low profile & both work really well. So if you are in the market for a mouse which works well for gaming & a companion for work then I would recommend these.
