Seagate has released the world’s first portable 4TB storage device – the Backup Plus FAST – providing twice the capacity and speed of most existing portable drives. It has a super-speed USB 3.0 interface delivering transfer speeds up to 220MB/s, making it ideal for transferring movies and large files. As you can see in the video below, transferring 6GB worth of data took less than half a minute.
Seagate has also released its latest Backup Plus Slim as the world’s thinnest 2TB portable storage device for also equipped with a USB 3.0 interface. Both disks come with the Seagate Dashboard software that provides single-backup solution and works on both Windows and OSX.
The Seagate Backup Plus FAST 4TB is currently available for approximately AED 1299 while the Seagate Backup Plus Slim drives are available retail for: 500GB – AED 259, 1TB – AED 339, 2TB – AED 599.
