Yango Play is expanding its music platform with a set of new features and regional content that aim to make the experience more flexible, personalized, and connected across devices. As the app continues to position itself as an all-in-one entertainment hub, recent updates reflect a push toward practicality and deeper audience engagement—particularly for users across the Arab world.
One of the most notable additions is offline music playback on Apple Watch, which now allows users to download songs directly to the device. This means music can be enjoyed without tethering to an iPhone or relying on an internet connection—ideal for workouts, travel, or any time users are away from their phones. It’s a modest but meaningful improvement that brings Yango Play in line with how more people actually consume music on the move.
The app also improves integration with Yasmina smart speakers, now offering enhanced playback and control via the Yango Play mobile app. Users can connect their smartphones and manage playlists, playback settings, and music queues in real time. While voice commands remain available, this hands-on control makes it easier to personalize listening sessions and interact with music in a more intuitive way—particularly for users who prefer using touch over voice assistants. These updates are live across iOS and Android devices.
Yango Play’s new personalized playlist creation tools also mark a clear effort to compete with established streaming platforms. Users can now build mood- or genre-based playlists, reorder tracks, add custom titles and cover art, and share their collections with friends or make them public. It’s a welcome addition for those who want more control over how they organize and experience music, and for those looking to discover songs based on their own habits and interests.

Alongside these feature upgrades, Yango Play continues to invest in regional music content, offering a broad mix of new releases from well-known Arab artists and emerging voices. The app now hosts Nancy Ajram’s Nancy 11, a 12-track album led by the single “Sidi ya Sidi,” blending Egyptian and Lebanese musical styles. Tamer Hosny’s Leena Maadincludes 15 songs with high-profile collaborations, including Reda El Bahrawy and Al Shami.
Other major additions include Assala’s emotional new record Daribet Al Bo’d, Latifa’s 13-track album Galbi Ertah—featuring collaborations with Mohamed El-Kazmy and Kazem Al-Saher—and Ramy Sabry’s Ana Bahebak Enta, which comes with official music videos and a remix from producer Aly Fathallah.
Longtime icons of Arabic music are also represented. Najwa Karam returns with Halet Tawari’, and Fadel Chakershares a romantic new ballad, Elhob w Bass. Meanwhile, Melhem Zein’s 22 album celebrates his career with a genre-spanning collection of energetic, heartfelt songs. Rounding out the lineup is Mohamed Mounir’s latest pop single Malamehna, and a collaborative release from Fadel and Mohamed Chaker titled Kifak Ala Foragi, a father-son duet showcasing generational artistry.
With a growing catalog of music tailored to local tastes and a refined set of user-driven features, Yango Play continues to strengthen its position as a versatile music platform. Rather than chasing gimmicks, the app focuses on adding meaningful functionality that enhances everyday use while supporting a broader cultural ecosystem for Arabic music fans worldwide.
