TikTok has launched a new regional integration that allows users in the Middle East and North Africa to seamlessly save tracks from their For You feed directly to Anghami, the region’s leading music streaming platform. The rollout of TikTok’s “Add to Music App” feature coincides with the release of Nancy Ajram’s highly anticipated album Nancy 11, giving fans a streamlined way to collect and stream songs from the album as they discover them on the app.
The new feature appears as an “Add Song” button next to the track name at the bottom of TikTok videos. With just one tap, users can link their TikTok and Anghami accounts, automatically saving tracks to their Anghami Likes. After the initial setup, Anghami becomes the default streaming service for future saves, though users can change this preference anytime through TikTok’s settings.
Though the feature has been available globally since 2024, this is the first time TikTok has brought it to the MENA region through Anghami. The integration could significantly improve music discovery-to-streaming conversion for Arabic and international artists alike, especially given TikTok’s central role in shaping listening habits and driving viral music trends.
TikTok describes the partnership as part of its broader mission to close the gap between music discovery and sustained fan engagement. “We’re thrilled to be partnering with Anghami,” said Lindsey Zikry, TikTok’s Global Product Partnerships Lead. “This gives users an easy way to save the tracks they love while supporting artists across the region.”
Anghami sees the collaboration as a logical next step in its growth. “This is a powerful move for music fans and creators,” said Wael Hourani, Product Director at Anghami. “It shortens the path from discovery to streaming, which benefits everyone in the ecosystem.”
The feature arrives at a notable moment for the MENA music industry. Nancy Ajram’s Nancy 11 is out now, and fans are encouraged to save tracks directly from TikTok to Anghami. It also marks a strategic shift for Believe, a major global music company, which has launched its Artist Services division in the region—signing Ajram as a key partner.
For TikTok, the move is part of a continuing effort to solidify its role not just as a discovery platform but as a functional part of the music listening experience. With the “Add to Music App” feature now live in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and beyond, millions of users will have a more direct link between the content they scroll through and the music they want to hear again—wherever and whenever they choose.
