From Replay All Time to Top 500 countdown: how Apple music is marking its decade

Apple Music is marking its 10th anniversary with a series of updates centered squarely on music discovery and listener milestones. Beginning June 30, Apple Music Radio will host back-to-back specials celebrating a decade of broadcasts: Zane Lowe and Ebro Darden will kick things off with a two-hour retrospective on the service’s evolution, followed by an eight-hour showcase of landmark artist moments and cultural milestones. From July 1 through July 5, listeners can tune in daily as the station counts down the 500 most-streamed tracks in Apple Music history, wrapping up with the Top 100 of All Time playlist.

Alongside the radio programming, Apple is introducing Replay All Time, an expanded take on its annual Replay feature. Instead of limiting the rundown to the past calendar year, Replay All Time compiles each subscriber’s most-played songs from the moment they first joined the service. To find it, users simply update to the latest Apple Music app, tap Home, scroll to the Replay All Time card, and tap “Listen to your Playlist.” Like any other playlist, it can be added to your library or a custom collection, shuffled, and shared—offering a consolidated view of one’s decade-long listening journey.

These playlist enhancements coincide with iOS 26’s recent tweaks to the Music app—an updated playback queue and streamlined lyrics access among them—aimed at smoothing the listening experience and bringing queue management in line with user expectations. Taken together, the radio specials, countdowns, and personalized Replay All Time feature underscore Apple’s focus on music-first innovations rather than purely platform upgrades.

Later this summer, Apple Music will open a new 15,000-square-foot studio complex in Los Angeles. Spanning three floors, the facility houses two Spatial Audio–capable radio studios, a 4,000-square-foot soundstage, a dedicated mixing room with a 9.2.4 PMC speaker array, plus isolation booths, editing suites, and content labs. As Apple Music Radio continues its celebration, this new creative campus will serve as a home base for future live broadcasts, exclusive performances, and deeper artist–fan engagement.
