She Runs 2025 returns to Expo City Dubai for the UAE’s biggest women-only run

Expo City Dubai will once again host thousands of women this November as She Runs 2025 returns for its 12th edition. Taking place on Saturday, November 9, the UAE’s largest women-only run forms part of the Dubai Fitness Challenge, celebrating empowerment, wellness, and community through an inclusive sporting event that welcomes participants of all abilities and ages.

Organized by Plan b Group and supported by the Dubai Sports Council, She Runs 2025 brings together women and girls from across the country for a day that goes beyond competition. With distances of 1K, 5K, and 10K — including a Girls’ Run and a dedicated route for People of Determination — the event aims to make running accessible to everyone, from first-time participants to experienced athletes.

This year’s event at Al Forsan Park in Expo City Dubai will transform the venue into a vibrant festival space. The Race Village will feature wellness zones, yoga and mindfulness sessions, recovery areas, family activities, live entertainment, and a marketplace spotlighting female-led brands. The goal is to create an environment that celebrates health, community, and connection as much as athletic achievement.

She Runs 2025 also highlights leadership and advocacy through its Community Champions program. Six women — Sanjana Karia, Dr. Shefali Verma, Lisa Campbell, Ava Hall, Laila Labib, and Atiqa Asif Mir — will represent the event’s values of courage, inclusivity, and personal growth. They will take part in Dubai Active’s Industry Talks, Youth Programmes, and Studio Sessions, sharing personal stories that encourage participation and confidence among women of all ages.

A wide network of partners helps bring the event to life. Key supporters include the Dubai Sports Council, Expo City Dubai, ASICS, Medcare Hospitals, FitRepublik, and Cheval Maison, with additional contributions from Lovin Dubai, La Roche-Posay, Pocari Sweat, Tesla, and MonViso. Dubai Active joins as the Pre-Event Run Prep Partner, providing training sessions and practical resources to help participants get ready.

With a focus on inclusion, sustainability, and wellbeing, She Runs continues to grow as both a sporting event and a social movement. It reflects Dubai’s broader commitment to active living under the Dubai Fitness Challenge, which encourages residents to engage in 30 minutes of daily activity throughout the month.

Registration for She Runs 2025 is now open through sheruns.me and Premier Online. Participants can choose their preferred distance and join pre-event training sessions in the weeks leading up to race day. Early registration is encouraged, as spots are expected to fill quickly.

For many, She Runs has become more than just a race — it’s a space to connect, celebrate progress, and inspire one another. When runners take over Expo City Dubai on November 9, they won’t just be crossing a finish line — they’ll be marking another step forward in the growing culture of female fitness and empowerment in the UAE.
