Casio has introduced a new addition to its flagship MR-G line in the UAE, the MRG-B2000BG-3A, a deep green variant finished in kurogane-iro with subtle gold accents. The watch, designed and manufactured in Japan, combines G-SHOCK’s hallmark toughness with refined detailing and modern connectivity features.
The case and bracelet are made from titanium, keeping weight low while maintaining durability. Both are treated with deep-layer hardening and DLC coating to resist scratches, while a sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating protects the dial. The green finish draws inspiration from the dark hue iron takes on when heated for traditional Japanese armour, a nod to the MR-G series’ emphasis on craft and heritage.

Inside, the watch uses Tough Solar charging, backed by two timekeeping systems: Bluetooth connectivity for syncing with a smartphone and Multi-Band 6 radio calibration for automatic updates where available. Dual-time support with auto adjustment ensures accuracy when traveling, while a Super Illuminator LED improves legibility in low light.
The MRG-B2000BG-3A positions itself more as a dress-ready MR-G than the brand’s typical chunky, tactical G-SHOCK models. The restrained green-and-gold colorway and refined materials give it a more formal edge, though it retains the rugged build and resistance to everyday wear that the brand is known for.
The model is available now through select G-SHOCK boutiques and premium partner retailers across the UAE, though official local pricing has not been announced.
