Two distinctive editions are now available for pre-order: the Gold Edition, featuring kintsugi-inspired design elements, and the Black Edition, influenced by sumi-e ink-brush aesthetics. Each bundle includes a specially styled PS5 with disc drive, a matching DualSense controller, and a digital download of Ghost of Yōtei. Players who pre-order will also receive exclusive in-game bonuses including a unique mask and a set of PlayStation Network avatars.
Sony has taken a thoughtful approach with the visual details. Both consoles are adorned with motifs referencing the game’s setting and protagonist, Atsu. The designs incorporate Mount Yōtei, symbolic calligraphy, and mask-inspired gold vein patterns across the shell. The DualSense controllers also mirror these themes, with Atsu’s silhouette placed prominently on the touchpad—bringing physical hardware in tune with the game’s narrative.
For current PS5 Slim and PS5 Pro owners, Sony is offering standalone console covers and controllers to match the limited editions. However, the black sumi-e variant may remain exclusive to full hardware bundles. Ghost of Yōtei is a direct follow-up to Ghost of Tsushima, offering a new samurai tale set in Ezo, the historical name for Hokkaido. The game promises a visually rich and emotionally resonant experience, enhanced by cinematic visual filters including Kurosawa Mode, Miike Mode, and a newly announced lo-fi Watanabe Mode—giving players multiple ways to tailor the atmosphere of their journey.
UAE gamers should expect bundle prices to land between AED 1,900 and AED 2,200, depending on configuration and availability.
