Resident Evil fans, rejoice! a new game is in the works

Capcom dropped a bombshell during its “Capcom Next” livestream on Monday: a new Resident Evil game is in development. Koshi Nakanishi, the director of Resident Evil 7, tantalized fans with the announcement, describing the project as “substantial” but keeping the details shrouded in mystery. Could this be Resident Evil 9? Or will it sport a creative subtitle like “Village”? We’ll have to wait and see.

But that wasn’t the only exciting news. The Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster is dropping on September 19th with graphical enhancements and quality-of-life improvements. Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess, a Japanese mythology-inspired tower defense game, is launching a demo today before its July 19th release. And for those who love gaming on the go,Resident Evil 7 is hitting iOS on July 2nd with a convenient auto-fire feature for virtual controls.

Get ready, gamers! The Resident Evil universe is expanding, and we can’t wait to see what horrors await us in this new installment.
