PUBG MOBILE adds Titan transformations in new Attack on Titan update

PUBG MOBILE’s latest collaboration update with Attack on Titan introduces a fresh wave of anime-themed content, merging high-stakes battle royale gameplay with the dramatic flair of one of Japan’s most recognizable anime franchises. This new phase in the ongoing partnership brings detailed character sets, voice packs, and playable Titan transformations, pushing the crossover experience deeper than ever before.

Available through July 6, 2025, the expansion includes fully realized character sets for key Attack on Titan figures—Eren Jaeger, Mikasa Ackermann, Levi, and Armin Arlert. Each skin is offered in two visual styles: one that mirrors the anime’s iconic aesthetic and another rendered in a more realistic, in-game look. Players can toggle between both depending on their style preference, enhancing immersion while navigating PUBG MOBILE’s competitive battlegrounds.

The most eye-catching addition is the ability for players to trigger Titan transformations—an homage to the anime’s core premise. By acquiring both the Eren Jaeger character set and the Attack Titan set, players can unlock Eren’s transformation into the fearsome Attack Titan. Similarly, combining Armin Arlert’s set with the Colossal Titan set enables his transformation into the towering Colossal Titan. These transformations aren’t just cosmetic—they bring an added layer of spectacle and intensity to matches.

Complementing the transformations are a variety of themed items and cosmetics. Voice packs featuring original lines from the anime’s main characters are now part of the update, along with additional sets like the Armored Titan costume and a Mini Colossal Titan companion. Vehicles get an overhaul too, with options like the Scout Regiment horse, the Cart Titan-themed Dacia, and a muscle-covered Colossal Titan Dacia offering playful but stylistically consistent additions to in-game traversal.

Beyond character-driven content, PUBG MOBILE has added a range of gear inspired by the Scout Regiment. Parachutes, melee weapons, backpacks, helmets, and gun skins all reflect the visual language of Attack on Titan, combining in-game utility with anime fandom. These new cosmetics are available through the themed Prize Path and two separate Lucky Spin events, reinforcing PUBG MOBILE’s ongoing strategy of limited-time, visually-driven collaborations.

The crossover underscores PUBG MOBILE’s continued focus on high-profile anime partnerships as a way to deepen player engagement and diversify its cosmetics ecosystem. While the update is largely content-focused rather than gameplay-changing, the Titan transformations and thematic consistency offer a compelling draw for both longtime fans of the anime and PUBG MOBILE players looking for something distinct.

The PUBG MOBILE x Attack on Titan event runs until July 6, 2025. The game is available to download for free on the App Store and Google Play.
