Dragon’s Dogma 2 is getting some long-awaited quality-of-life improvements! The official Dragon’s Dogma X account announced upcoming in-game updates, with the biggest highlight being the ability to start a fresh game even with existing save data. This solves a major player frustration, as the game originally limited players to a single save file.
Console players will also see benefits. New options will include toggling ray tracing and motion blur to improve performance, and the ability to lock the framerate at 30fps for smoother gameplay.
Other welcome tweaks include:
- Easier access to “Art of Metamorphosis” items for appearance changes
- Earlier availability of a quest to purchase a house
While a specific release date is unknown, Capcom promises these updates are coming in the near future. These changes show the developers are listening to player feedback and aiming to improve the Dragon’s Dogma 2 experience.
