Activision has dropped the first full multiplayer trailer for Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, giving players a look at what to expect when the game launches later this year. The trailer, which is age-gated due to mature content, showcases all 18 launch maps and confirms that the footage is entirely in-game.

The video highlights a range of environments, from tight urban arenas to expansive outdoor combat zones, each designed to emphasize Black Ops’ signature mix of fast-paced firefights and tactical play. Alongside the maps, viewers get glimpses of weapons, perks, field upgrades, and the new Overclock system, which appears to add another layer of strategy to loadouts and moment-to-moment gameplay.

For those who want a detailed breakdown, the official Call of Duty blog has published an extensive overview of Black Ops 7 multiplayer. It covers everything from game modes and progression to the weapons roster and how Overclock changes the pacing of matches.

Fans won’t have to wait long to get hands-on. The multiplayer beta begins on October 2 across all platforms, giving players a chance to test out the maps and systems ahead of launch. Before that, Activision will host Call of Duty: NEXT on September 30, promising an even deeper look at multiplayer, Warzone integration, and what’s next for the franchise.

With Black Ops 7, Treyarch and Raven are positioning the series for another big year, leaning on the Black Ops name while introducing fresh mechanics to keep longtime fans engaged.
