PlayStation Plus adds GTA 5 and a varied November lineup

Sony has confirmed the PlayStation Plus game catalog for November, with Grand Theft Auto 5 returning to the subscription lineup. The game’s reappearance isn’t especially surprising, but its timing has drawn attention. Many players are still processing the latest delay to Grand Theft Auto 6, which is now targeting a November 19, 2026 release. For anyone who never picked up GTA 5 during its many reissues, its availability through PlayStation Plus offers another route into a title that continues to anchor interest in the series while the next installment remains in development.

This month’s update offers a broader mix of new and returning releases that reflect the service’s ongoing shift toward catalog depth rather than headline exclusives. Still Wakes the Deep stands out as one of the more distinctive additions. Developed by The Chinese Room, the game blends psychological tension with a remote oil-rig setting, leaning on atmosphere rather than spectacle. Pacific Drive, another well-received entry, approaches survival design from a vehicle-focused perspective, embracing a slower pace and methodical systems. Both titles add variety for players interested in smaller-scale projects that don’t typically dominate monthly subscription lineups.

Puzzle fans get The Talos Principle 2, a follow-up that broadens the philosophical and mechanical ambitions of the original, and platformer enthusiasts can look toward Thank Goodness You’re Here!, a comedy-leaning project with a deliberately offbeat British tone. Rounding out the list are multiplayer shooter Insurgency: Sandstorm, demolition-oriented Monster Jam Showdown, and MotoGP 25, which continues the long-running licensed racing series. These releases contribute to a catalog that increasingly reflects a wide range of genres rather than a focus on any single platform identity.

PlayStation Plus Premium subscribers also gain access to Tomb Raider Anniversary, an emulated edition of the PlayStation 2 version that preserves the look and feel of an earlier era in the series. Its inclusion reinforces Premium’s role as the archival tier, though the overall pace of classic releases remains modest compared with the breadth of Sony’s back catalog.

The full list for PlayStation Plus in November 2025 includes Grand Theft Auto 5, Pacific Drive, Still Wakes the Deep, Insurgency: Sandstorm, Thank Goodness You’re Here!, The Talos Principle 2, Monster Jam Showdown, MotoGP 25, and Tomb Raider Anniversary for Premium members. As the subscription model matures, the monthly rotation continues to highlight a mix of large-scale blockbusters and smaller, more experimental games, offering subscribers a practical way to revisit major franchises while sampling less conventional work.
