LEGO has unveiled a new set based on Peanuts, centered on the franchise’s most recognizable character, Snoopy. Titled LEGO Peanuts: Snoopy’s Doghouse, the 964-piece set is scheduled for release on June 1, 2026, with pre-orders now open through LEGO’s official storefront. The retail price is set at $89.99.
The build recreates Snoopy’s red doghouse, complete with a grassy base and brick-built details referencing classic Peanuts imagery. The design draws inspiration from a December 1958 comic strip in which Snoopy is shown resting atop his doghouse, a pose that has since become synonymous with the character. The structure measures just over 10 inches high, 6.5 inches wide, and 5.5 inches deep, positioning it as a mid-sized display set rather than a large-scale collector’s model.

One functional feature is a liftable roof section that reveals a small campfire scene inside, paired with a fold-out backdrop depicting a night sky. The set also includes brick-built figures of Snoopy and Woodstock. Snoopy comes with interchangeable leg and neck elements, allowing for seated, standing, or reclining poses. A small typewriter accessory is included, referencing a 1965 strip in which Snoopy begins writing a novel from the top of his doghouse.
This marks the first official LEGO set based on Peanuts and arrives as the franchise approaches its 76th anniversary. Created by Charles M. Schulz in 1950, Peanuts ran for nearly five decades, producing close to 18,000 comic strips before Schulz’s death in 2000. The property has since expanded into animated specials, feature films, and stage adaptations, maintaining cross-generational appeal.

The Snoopy’s Doghouse set originated through the LEGO Ideas program, which allows fan-designed concepts to be submitted for review. The original submission by Robert Becker featured 340 pieces and focused on a simpler composition of Snoopy, Woodstock, and a campfire. The finalized retail version significantly expands on that base, with the majority of added pieces allocated to the doghouse structure and display enhancements.
LEGO has not formally confirmed additional June 2026 releases, though industry leaks suggest a crowded schedule that may include sets tied to franchises such as Jurassic World, Spider-Man, Minecraft, and Shrek. As with many LEGO Ideas releases, the Snoopy set blends display value with nostalgia, targeting adult collectors and long-time fans as much as younger builders.
