Gran Turismo 7 has received update 1.67, which begins rolling out today and continues the series’ steady cadence of free post-launch content. Developed by Polyphony Digital and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment, the update adds three new vehicles, three World Circuit events, a new Extra Menu, and a fresh Scapes curation. Alongside the content drop, the Gran Turismo World Series Online Qualifiers are entering their final stages, with key races scheduled through the end of January.
The three cars introduced in update 1.67 span conventional motorsport, touring car racing, and high-performance electric vehicles. The ’22 Porsche 911 GT3 R (992) is a purpose-built race car derived from Porsche’s long-running 911 lineage. Unlike its road-going counterparts, this version is engineered specifically for GT competition, featuring a naturally aspirated flat-six engine, a longer wheelbase for improved stability, and extensive use of lightweight materials. In Gran Turismo 7, it expands the selection of modern GT3 machinery available for both single-player events and online racing.
Joining it is the ’24 Hyundai Elantra N TC, a touring car developed from Hyundai’s Elantra N road car. While the production model provides the foundation, the TC version adds racing-specific aerodynamics, a sequential gearbox, adjustable suspension, and reduced weight to meet international touring car regulations. Its inclusion reflects Gran Turismo’s continued interest in showcasing manufacturer-backed race programs that sit between road cars and top-tier endurance machines.
The most unconventional addition is the ’25 Xiaomi SU7 Ultra. Built by a company better known for consumer electronics, the SU7 Ultra represents a growing trend of technology firms entering the electric vehicle space. In the game, it stands out for its extreme performance figures, multi-motor all-wheel-drive layout, and advanced construction techniques, offering players a glimpse at how high-end EVs might compete with traditional performance cars on track.

Beyond vehicles, update 1.67 introduces three new World Circuit races at the Nürburgring Nordschleife, Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps, and Mount Panorama, each tied to different performance classes. An Extra Menu focused on Hyundai’s N brand has been added for high-level collectors, and a new “California Roadsides” Scapes collection expands the game’s photography options.
The update also coincides with the closing rounds of the Gran Turismo World Series Online Qualifiers. The Manufacturers Cup is wrapping up its final stages, with the last round scheduled for January 31, while the Nations Cup qualifiers will follow in February. Together, the content update and competitive calendar reinforce Gran Turismo 7’s ongoing focus on blending car culture, structured competition, and incremental content updates rather than large, infrequent expansions.
