Polyphony Digital is set to release the Gran Turismo 7 Power Pack DLC on December 4, 2025, for PlayStation 5, adding new layers of challenge and realism to Sony’s flagship racing simulator. The paid add-on, available through the PlayStation Store, expands the game’s content with endurance racing, enhanced AI competition, and in-game rewards tailored to dedicated players.
The Power Pack introduces 50 new races across 20 themed categories inspired by motorsport traditions from around the world. Among the key additions is the return of 24-hour endurance events—long a hallmark of the Gran Turismo series and a defining test for simulation fans. Players will also experience complete race weekends, including practice and qualifying sessions before the main event, emphasizing strategy and consistency over pure speed.
A major technical highlight of the expansion is the integration of Gran Turismo Sophy 3.0, the latest version of Sony AI’s racing system. This advanced artificial intelligence is designed to mimic real-world driver behavior, offering competitive, human-like racing dynamics that challenge players to refine their technique lap after lap.
Alongside its new gameplay elements, the DLC includes a 5,000,000 credit bonus, giving players a head start toward vehicle upgrades or high-tier car purchases. The Power Pack is positioned as a dedicated experience for racing purists—those seeking not just faster laps but a more immersive simulation of professional motorsport conditions.
Launching alongside the DLC in December is the Gran Turismo 7 SPEC III update, which will be free for all owners. That update will add new tracks, vehicles, and other gameplay features, continuing Polyphony Digital’s steady post-launch support for the title since its debut in 2022.
The Power Pack DLC reflects Gran Turismo 7’s ongoing evolution from a traditional racing game into a living motorsport platform, balancing accessibility for casual players with depth for serious sim enthusiasts.
