Xbox Game Pass is kicking off September with one of its most anticipated additions: Hollow Knight: Silksong. After years of speculation and delays, Team Cherry’s follow-up to the critically acclaimed Hollow Knight finally arrives on September 4, launching day one into Game Pass for Ultimate and PC subscribers. Alongside it, players will also see RoadCraft later in the month, plus a mix of indie standouts and family-friendly picks rounding out the lineup.
What’s Coming to Game Pass in Early September
The first wave of September brings six new titles across console, PC, and cloud:
- Available now: I Am Your Beast (Cloud, PC, Xbox Series X|S) — Ultimate, PC, Standard
- September 3: Nine Sols (Xbox Series X|S) — Standard
- September 4: Hollow Knight: Silksong (Cloud, Console, PC) — Ultimate, PC
- September 4: Cataclismo (PC) — Ultimate, PC
- September 10: PAW Patrol World (Cloud, Console, PC) — Ultimate, PC, Standard
- September 16: RoadCraft (Cloud, Xbox Series X|S) — Ultimate, Standard
Worth noting: Silksong is not available on the Standard console tier at launch, and RoadCraft skips PC for now.
Hollow Knight: Silksong UAE Launch Details
For UAE players, Silksong unlocks on Thursday, September 4 at 6pm GST. The international price is $19.99, which works out to about AED 73 in direct conversion. While it will be available to buy outright, the bigger news is that it launches directly on Game Pass for Ultimate and PC subscribers, keeping with Microsoft’s promise of day-one access for major indie releases.
Perks, DLC, and What’s Leaving
Outside of new arrivals, there are a few extras and departures to keep track of. Indiana Jones and the Great Circle – The Order of Giants DLC drops September 4 but is not included in Game Pass; members do, however, get a discount on the Digital Premium Upgrade. On September 2, Skate 3 – The Unlock Bundle became available as a free perk for Ultimate members.
As for what’s leaving, three titles rotate out on September 15: All You Need is Help, Wargroove 2, and We Love Katamari Reroll + Royal Reverie.
