Blizzard Entertainment has confirmed that Midnight, the second installment in World of Warcraft’s ongoing Worldsoul Saga, will enter beta testing on November 11. The upcoming test marks a significant step toward launch, giving selected players the first hands-on experience with the expansion’s new features, systems, and world updates.

Access to the beta will be extended to a mix of players, including those who pre-purchased the Epic Edition of Midnightand those who previously registered through the official opt-in page. Blizzard also noted that anyone who upgrades or buys the Epic Edition during the beta period will receive instant entry to the test environment.

Participants will be able to explore several of the expansion’s key additions. The beta will feature the updated leveling campaign, revamped Eversong Woods, and the redesigned Silvermoon City—now serving as a major player hub. Testers will also encounter new gameplay systems such as the Prey mechanic and gain early access to the Haranir, a newly introduced allied race. Blizzard plans to expand the beta in stages, with later phases including raid boss testing and trials of new combat and encounter design tools built for Midnight.

The studio says the test will be crucial for gathering community feedback on gameplay balance, quest flow, and the technical stability of the updated zones. As with previous World of Warcraft betas, the process will evolve over several weeks, adding new content and tuning adjustments based on player reports.

For ongoing updates, Blizzard encourages players to visit the In Development forums and the World of Warcraft blog, where discussions, patch notes, and developer insights will continue throughout the beta period.
