When Nintendo finally unveiled their latest system, Switch, I was as giddy as a schoolgirl and overly excited. Despite knowing that the Switch will unlikely match the PS4 and XOne in oomph, the possibilities as well as FRIGGIN ZELDA were reasons enough for me to hop on board. And as a big surprise to everyone, when Nintendo of America’s Reggie Fils-Aimé as well as Shigeru Miyamoto were giving Jimmy Fallon a first look at Super Mario Run, he gets given the Switch and for the first time ever, we get to see Zelda: Breath of the Wild running on the hardware.
And let’s just say it was a smooth experience.
Watch the video below and count how many times Fallon says “I am freaking out” (I hear ya, buddy, same here!). Miyamoto also plays the Mario theme along with The Roots, and the whole thing is just a fan’s wet dream.

Super Mario Run is set to debut on December 15, so it will keep you nice and busy until the Switch arrives in March along with Breath of the Wild.
