Rumour: No Man’s Sky is Delayed

Hello Games took the world by storm after they showcased their upcoming space exploration video game – No Man’s Sky. The game has been sort of an enigma because it’s one of those games that received so much hype given the fact that it had very little marketing behind it, and the game footage available for it is just as sparse. But whatever has been seen up to now is nothing less than breathtaking. And that’s why it may come as a shocker to many that the game may be delayed indefinitely.

According Kotaku’s sources, the game is to be delayed and that stores which have the posters on display with June 21st as the release date should have the date covered up with a “Coming Soon” label. There has been no official word from the studio or from Sony as to if this delay is legitimate. Usually a delay is not a bad thing, sometimes video games get setback in date because the studios are fine tuning the game or trying to patch up any issues or bugs they found within the game. Given the sheer size of the world in No Man’s Sky, it is not surprising if that were the reason as to why Hello Games is pushing for a later date.
