BITS Sports Festival is one of the largest collegiate sports event in the region running since 2004. This year, for the first time, it will also include e-sports as a major component of the event. Respawn CES 2016 takes place from November 14th to 16th, 2016 at BITS Pilani, Dubai Campus in Dubai International Academic City. Under the banner of the BITS Sports Festival 2016, students from more than 30 renowned institutes gather to celebrate the competitive spirit of sports. For the first time ever, an inter-university sports event will be featuring eSports tournaments.
The PC Tournament will be sponsored by MSI Middle East. As one of the biggest gaming brands in the PC industry, MSI’s gaming laptops have been appointed as the official PC system in the competition. Using the latest MSI professional gaming laptops, witness players and teams from universities and high schools around the country face off to take home the grand prize in the most popular eSports titles – Dota2 and CS:GO.
