Games in EA Access are going free for a week on Xbox One

Gamers with an Xbox One are in for a treat this week; EA Access, the subscription service, is currently free for Xbox Live Gold members.

EA Access is a service Electronic Arts announced back in 2014 that gives Xbox One users access to some of its game for a monthly fee of $5 or a yearly fee of $30. Users with the subscription will get access to what EA calls the “Vault”, a collection of games you’ll have access to as long as you have a subscription. Games such as Battlefield Hardline, Titanfall, and Dragon Age: Inquisition, Fifa, etc will all be available to play for subscribers and for free (for Xbox Live Gold members) during this week.

The promotion ends on Sunday so boot up your Xbox One and pray you have enough hard drive space to download the games you wish to play. Subscribing to the service will give you a 10% discount on EA games and let you play them a week before their official launch. Sony fans will have to wait and see if a similar promotion for Playstation Now drops.
