Bethesda is marking the tenth anniversary of Fallout 4 with a new edition of its post-apocalyptic RPG. Fallout 4: Anniversary Edition launches digitally on November 10, 2025, for PlayStation, Xbox, and PC, with a Nintendo Switch 2 version following in 2026. The release includes all six official DLCs, over 150 pieces of Creation Club content, and a redesigned Creations Hub for browsing and managing mods.
The Anniversary Edition bundles together everything released for Fallout 4 since its original 2015 debut, positioning it as the definitive version for returning players and newcomers alike. The six DLC expansions—Automatron, Far Harbor, Nuka-World, and the Wasteland Workshop, Contraptions Workshop, and Vault-Tec Workshop add-ons—are all included. The collection also incorporates a significant number of curated Creation Club items, ranging from weapons and armor to quest and gameplay tweaks, now accessible through the new in-game Creations interface.
This updated Creations Hub replaces the previous split between the Mod and Creation Club menus, offering a single, unified system for discovering, downloading, and managing both free community mods and official add-ons. Bethesda says the change streamlines the process of expanding the game world—something players previously found cumbersome. The release builds upon last year’s current-gen upgrade, which improved performance and visuals on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
For UAE players, the digital versions on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC are expected to unlock late on November 10 in line with the global rollout. Bethesda has not yet confirmed local pricing or whether a physical edition will be available.
Perhaps the biggest surprise is the inclusion of a Nintendo Switch 2 release in 2026, marking the first time a mainline Fallout game will appear on a Nintendo console. The port is expected to take advantage of the handheld’s new hardware and microSD Express storage for faster load times. For local buyers, faster storage cards—such as the 1TB microSD Express models now available in the UAE—will likely be essential for running the game smoothly.
The timing of the re-release is clearly designed to align with renewed interest in the franchise. The second season of Amazon’s Fallout TV series premieres in December, and the first season’s success previously sparked a massive resurgence in Fallout 4 player numbers. With the new bundle offering a cleaner, fully stocked version of the game, Bethesda is positioning the Anniversary Edition as an accessible entry point for new fans drawn in by the show.
While the studio hasn’t yet confirmed save and mod compatibility, players can expect same-platform save continuity based on past updates. Mod creators are likely to release compatible versions following the game’s November rollout.
By consolidating a decade of updates, expansions, and community content, Fallout 4: Anniversary Edition serves as both a celebration and a practical refresh. It reinforces Bethesda’s ongoing strategy of maintaining long-tail engagement for its flagship titles through steady updates, mod integration, and timely re-releases tied to media crossovers.
