Gaming and motoring enthusiasts from across the region came together today for a stylish tour of Dubai, as Xbox and Lamborghini partnered to celebrate the exclusive launch of Forza Horizon 3.
The event was dedicated to members of Lamborghini Club, who were encouraged to bring their cars and participate in a lavish procession through Dubai’s hotspots, beginning at Microsoft’s Internet City offices, with the finish line at QD’s Dubai Creek Golf Club.
Members of the media, who had received pre-launch copies of the game, were also part of the spectacle, riding in limousines at the head of the parade.
Playground Games’ Forza Horizon 3 puts gamers in the driving seat as overlord of the Horizon Festival, which in this instalment is being held in Australia. Following in the tire-tracks of its predecessors in the Forza motorsport series, FH3’s sandbox dynamic allows players to immerse themselves in the raw beauty of an open-world environment, while experiencing the teeth-grinding challenge of handling winding tracks behind the wheels of more than 350 vehicles.

Lamborghini Club members were in for a treat as they claimed their free copy of Forza Horizon 3 at today’s Dubai event. Those who brought their cars were photographed, along with their vehicle, against a green screen. At the evening event, those members were presented with a copy of FH3 with a customised cover, featuring them and their vehicle.
Members who brought their cars were also entered into a prize draw – using their licence plate number as a ticket – to win one of five Xbox One consoles. Other event giveaways included Xbox One console and game discount-vouchers, car sun-shade covers and Forza polo shirts.
Beginning September 27th, Forza Horizon 3 will be available for Xbox One and Windows 10 PCs, in all major retail outlets across UAE including the Microsoft online store, as well as the Microsoft branded store on Souq.com . As an Xbox Play Anywhere title, players who purchase “Forza Horizon 3” on either Xbox One or Windows 10 will automatically own the game on the other platform at no additional cost. In addition, “Forza Horizon 3” features cross-play between Xbox One and Windows 10, as well as shared save progress, Gamerscore and Forza Rewards.
