Doom is a franchise that needs little introduction; after all it is one of the few series that got the ball rolling for first-person shooters. After its initial teaser at E3 2015, the gaming world has been buzzing to hear more. Since then, Bethesda has released more trailers – showing much of the single-player campaign gameplay as well as, the much awaited, multiplayer campaign.
So it isn’t surprising that they’ve also just released a live-action trailer. Coincidentally, the trailer released on the same day as the closed-beta opened. The live-action trailer is everything Doom and more. It’s a perfect bloody blend of violence, bullets, gore, and heavy metal music. The trailer is directed none other Joseph Kosinski – the acclaimed director behind the poignant ‘Mad World’ trailer for Gear of War, as well the director of Tron: Legacy.
Doom is set to release May 13, 2016.
