Cyber Sports League is looking to get ahead of other regional eSports organisations by announcing its first tournament of the new year. CSL will be hosting an online DOTA 2 tournament on Friday the 6th of January.
While the tournament is open to the participants from across the region, players in the UAE are required to attend the physical venue, Hub Zero. They can also register for the tournament directly with Hub Zero. Players outside of the UAE can register online via the Cyber Sports League website and will participate in the tournament online.
The registration deadline is on the 5th of January, with the competition running throughout the 6th and 7th of January. Participants will have to create a Team Profile, invite their team members, assign a team captain, and then register the team through the tournament page. All users have to individually accept invitations for registration through their accounts to confirm their participation.
The cost of registration will be 10 Credits per player (40 AED; 40 SAR; 8 JOD; 4 OMR; 4 BHD; 200 EGP; 40 QAR; 11 USD).
The tournament itself will be that off a 5v5 Captain’s mode with the format being Single Elimination. The tournament will take place on Friday 6th Jan, 2pm-1am (Dubai Time) and on Saturday 7th Jan, 2pm-12am (Dubai Time). The prize pool is worth more than AED 12,000.
