Christmas has come early for some elite MOBA gamers in the Middle East thanks to one of the region’s biggest e-sports platforms, Cyber Sports League. CSL have recently unveiled the DOTA 2 GeForce Cup, in collaboration with Nvidia, which will take place online between the 18th and 20th of August. But perhaps the biggest draw of the competition, other than a chance to prove your mettle and garner some fame, is the whopping AED 14,500 prize pool that’s up for grabs. 1st place winners alone will be taking home AED 7500 as well as a trophy.

For the upcoming tournament, players will have to register by the 16th of August, with newcomers required to register a team and a captain. Teams from all over the Middle East and North Africa are welcome to register. A preliminary schedule of the tournament is as follows: Thursday 18th August 7pm-1am (Dubai Time) Friday 19 August, 3pm-12am (Dubai Time) Saturday 20 August, 1pm-10pm (Dubai Time). A coin flip will decide which team captain gets first pick/side and will set in flow the double elimination, 5v5 Captain’s Mode matches. The matches themselves will be streamed on CSL’s official Twitch page which can be viewed here, and could potentially be streamed on other community channels as well.

Do you think you have what it takes to snatch the trophy and grand prize? Head over to CSL’s registration page here and find out!
