NVIDIA has confirmed that Borderlands 4 will launch later this month with support for DLSS 4 and Multi Frame Generation, giving GeForce RTX players major performance boosts at release. Alongside the game, NVIDIA is rolling out a new GeForce Game Ready Driver optimized for Borderlands 4 as well as Dying Light: The Beast.

Borderlands 4 with DLSS 4

Gearbox’s Borderlands 4 takes players to Kairos, a new planet under the rule of a ruthless tyrant, and once again features four-player co-op, a new lineup of Vault Hunters, and the series’ trademark over-the-top arsenal. For PC players with RTX 50 Series GPUs, DLSS 4 with Multi Frame Generation can boost frame rates by up to 5.5x at 4K. RTX 40 Series players can use DLSS Frame Generation, while all RTX cards will support DLSS Super Resolution and NVIDIA Reflex to reduce latency by as much as 54%.

Dying Light: The Beast

Launching on September 19, Techland’s Dying Light: The Beast will also include DLSS 4 with Multi Frame Generation, DLSS Super Resolution, and ray tracing with DLSS Ray Reconstruction. Set in the zombie-infested valley of Castor Woods, the game aims to pair open-world survival horror with next-gen PC performance upgrades.

More Games Getting DLSS 4

  • Predecessor, Omeda Studios’ MOBA, has been updated with DLSS 4, adding Frame Generation, DLAA, Reflex, and the latest AI-powered Super Resolution for sharper visuals and smoother play.
  • Dune: Awakening – Chapter 2 is now live, expanding the open-world survival title with new story content and the Lost Harvest DLC. Players can try the game free during a Steam Free Weekend, with DLSS 4 offering up to 4.9x faster frame rates at 4K since launch.

RTX Remix Update

NVIDIA also announced a major update to RTX Remix, the modding platform, introducing an advanced particle system. Modders can now build new fire, smoke, and fantasy-style effects comparable to those in modern titles. More than 165 RTX Remix-compatible games can potentially benefit from this upgrade, opening new creative opportunities for the modding community.

With DLSS 4 rolling out across major new titles and RTX Remix expanding modding tools, NVIDIA is positioning its latest AI-driven technologies as standard for PC gaming performance and visual enhancements heading into the busy fall release season.
