Apple Arcade’s holiday lineup is shaping up to be one of its busiest in years, led by the December 4 release of SpongeBob: Patty Pursuit 2. The sequel follows up on one of the platform’s more popular titles, returning players to Bikini Bottom for a new story that pairs SpongeBob SquarePants with Plankton in an uneasy alliance. Rather than repeating the original game’s setup, the sequel frames its action around a shared quest: recovering the Krusty Krab’s missing fry cook station, locating Plankton’s lost inventions, and uncovering the identity of a new antagonist. The game supports local co-op and switches control between SpongeBob and Plankton, broadening the formula with a range of new settings drawn from the animated series, including Dead Eye Gulch and Goo Lagoon.

The holiday slate goes beyond this single flagship release. Glassbreakers: Champions of Moss, a real-time multiplayer strategy game designed for Apple Vision Pro, launches November 13 and continues Apple Arcade’s gradual expansion into mixed-reality formats. December 4 adds several more titles: PowerWash Simulator, Cult of the Lamb Arcade Edition, Subway Surfers+, and Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm+. Each offers its own angle on Apple Arcade’s subscription model, which increasingly emphasizes uninterrupted, ad-free versions of widely played mobile games alongside curated indie projects.

PowerWash Simulator brings its methodical cleaning mechanics to mobile with touch and gyroscope support. The Arcade release includes special packs and missions at launch, among them SpongeBob-themed content, with more additions planned at no extra cost. Cult of the Lamb Arcade Edition marks the series’ first mobile appearance and includes exclusive customization items along with the full roster of updates and paid content from earlier versions. Subway Surfers+ offers a streamlined, ad-free mobile experience of one of the platform’s most downloaded games, while Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm+ adapts familiar 3D combat from the long-running manga and anime series.
Existing Apple Arcade titles continue to receive updates as well. Sneaky Sasquatch, a mainstay on the service, recently expanded with a new farming town area that introduces crop cultivation, tractors, and additional activities, reinforcing Apple Arcade’s pattern of supporting older releases with steady content updates rather than relying solely on new launches.

Apple Arcade is priced at AED 27.99 per month with a one-month trial, and new device purchases qualify for a three-month trial. The service is also available through Apple One bundles across multiple tiers. More than 200 games are included, though availability varies depending on hardware and region. Family Sharing allows up to six people to access the full library under a single subscription, and cross-device support continues across iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple TV, and Vision Pro where titles are compatible.
