Nothing Tech, the London-based consumer electronics brand known for its distinct industrial design and minimalist aesthetic, has officially announced the Middle East launch of two new products: its first true flagship smartphone, the Nothing Phone (3), and its debut over-ear audio device, Nothing Headphone (1). Both products will be available in the UAE and Saudi Arabia starting July 18, 2025, with a regional pre-launch activation event, #100Drops, set for July 17 at 7PM at Sharaf DG, Dubai Mall.

Nothing Phone (3): A Flagship Focused on Creativity and Performance

The Nothing Phone (3) introduces the brand’s most advanced smartphone to date, offering flagship-level specs while staying true to the company’s design-first philosophy. The phone features a refined tri-column chassis, an ergonomic R-angle body, and ultra-thin 1.87mm bezels surrounding a 6.67-inch AMOLED display. At the back, an evolved Glyph Matrix—a system of micro-LEDs—adds intelligent visual feedback for notifications, app-specific alerts, and even interactive tools like Solar Clock and Glyph Toys.

Powering the device is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset, delivering significant performance gains over the Phone (2), including 36% faster CPU, 88% GPU improvement, and 125% faster image recognition. It’s paired with up to 16GB RAM and a 5150mAh silicon-carbon battery, supporting 65W wired and 15W wireless charging.

For creators, the pro-grade camera system includes a 1/1.3” main sensor, optical image stabilization, and 4K video at 60fps across all lenses, with filters and presets developed in collaboration with professional photographers.

Running on Nothing OS 3.5 (based on Android 15), the software focuses on utility, introducing features like Essential Search, Flip to Record, and Essential Space, an AI-powered productivity hub. Nothing also promises five years of Android updates and seven years of security support.

Nothing Headphone (1): Premium Sound, Transparent Design

Making its debut alongside the Phone (3) is Nothing Headphone (1), the brand’s first over-ear headphones. Designed in collaboration with audio pioneer KEF, Headphone (1) combines transparency and tactile interaction with high-fidelity sound.

The headphones feature custom 40mm dynamic drivers, Hi-Res Audio support via LDAC, USB-C lossless playback, and a 3.5mm jack. Advanced Spatial Audio with head tracking transforms stereo sources into immersive, 360-degree soundscapes.

Physically, the design includes transparent accents, formed aluminum, and oil-resistant PU memory foam ear cushionsfor comfort. The control system does away with capacitive touch in favor of physical inputs—The Roller, Paddle, and Bufton—for precise control over volume, media, and noise cancellation settings.

For noise isolation, Headphone (1) features adaptive hybrid ANC and an advanced AI-powered 4-mic ENC system, trained on 28 million noise scenarios to ensure clear voice transmission. Users can expect up to 35 hours of playback with ANC on, with a 5-minute quick charge offering an additional 2.4 hours of listening time.

Availability in the Middle East

Both Nothing Phone (3) and Nothing Headphone (1) will go on general sale in the UAE and Saudi Arabia on July 18, with two color options—black and white—available for both products. The Phone (3) will be offered in two configurations:

  • 12GB RAM + 256GB storage
  • 16GB RAM + 512GB storage

Pricing for the Middle East market has yet to be revealed. However, Nothing will be offering exclusive deals and launch bundles at the #100Drops event on July 17 at Sharaf DG in Dubai Mall, where early adopters can experience the new devices firsthand.

With this launch, Nothing continues to expand its footprint in the Middle East, aiming to redefine personal tech by blending expressive design, functional innovation, and long-term software support. Whether it’s a flagship smartphone built for creativity or over-ear headphones engineered for immersive audio, the brand’s newest products reflect its ambition to do things differently—without compromising substance.
