Apple has opened a new retail store in the United Arab Emirates, its fifth in the country and the first in the city of Al Ain. Located at Al Jimi Mall, the new location is intended to serve as both a sales hub and a community space, where customers can explore the latest Apple products, receive personalized support, and join hands-on learning sessions through the Today at Apple program.

The opening comes as Apple rolls out its newest devices worldwide, including the iPhone 17 lineup, Apple Watch Series 11, and AirPods Pro 3. Visitors to the store can also find the updated MacBook Pro with M4 chips, the latest iPad Pro paired with Apple Pencil Pro, and a wide range of accessories. As with other Apple Stores, shoppers can take advantage of trade-in programs, monthly financing plans, and convenient online order pickup through a dedicated in-store area.

Apple is also highlighting education and creativity at the new location. The Today at Apple program offers free workshops across photography, video, music, art, design, and coding. These sessions are designed to help customers unlock new ways to use their devices while learning practical skills. Students in particular will benefit from a 21-day series of learning sessions and customized workshops that emphasize creativity and collaboration. Topics range from capturing better photos on iPhone to mastering productivity tools on Mac and exploring Apple Intelligence features. Sessions can be booked online in advance.

Sustainability and accessibility were central to the store’s design. Apple Al Jimi Mall operates entirely on renewable energy and incorporates eco-friendly materials, including a biopolymer terrazzo floor. The store also accommodates a wide range of visitors with features such as varied table heights, advanced assisted-listening systems, and wide pathways to improve navigation.

Apple Retail executives see the new store as an opportunity to connect with the growing tech-savvy community in Al Ain, often referred to as the Garden City. The company emphasized that this store, like others worldwide, will serve not just as a retail outlet but as a place for people to learn, collaborate, and be inspired by technology.

With this launch, Apple Al Jimi Mall joins four other Apple Stores in the UAE: Yas Mall and Al Maryah Island in Abu Dhabi, and Dubai Mall and Mall of the Emirates in Dubai. The expansion underlines Apple’s continued investment in the Middle East, a region where its products have a strong following. The store is open daily from 10 a.m., offering both locals and visitors in Al Ain access to Apple’s latest technology and retail experience.
