Here’s what to stream this Eid on Disney+, from new releases to familiar favorites

Disney+ is promoting a fresh lineup of releases and returning titles this March, alongside a limited-time subscription offer aimed at attracting new and returning viewers in the UAE. While the platform continues to position itself as a broad entertainment hub, the latest additions reflect a familiar mix of franchise extensions, nostalgic revivals, and trending drama series designed to maintain subscriber engagement.

Among the more prominent releases is Daredevil: Born Again Season 2, arriving on 25 March. The series continues the darker, street-level storytelling associated with the character, leaning into crime drama and character-driven tension. Its return signals ongoing investment in serialized superhero narratives, particularly those with a more grounded tone compared to larger ensemble productions.

Another notable addition is Zootropolis 2, which revisits the animated world of Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde. As with many sequels in established animation franchises, the film builds on existing character dynamics while introducing new conflicts. The emphasis remains on accessible humor and social themes, aiming to appeal to both younger viewers and returning audiences familiar with the original.

The platform is also highlighting a group of shows that have gained traction through word-of-mouth and social media. Tell Me Lies, now available in full, centers on a complicated relationship that unfolds over several years, reflecting the continued popularity of character-driven drama with long-form storytelling. Similarly, FX’s Love Story explores the highly publicized relationship between John F. Kennedy Jr. and Carolyn Bessette, drawing on real-life figures to frame a narrative shaped by media attention and personal conflict.

Alongside newer content, Disney+ continues to rely on its back catalog. A Hannah Montana 20th Anniversary Special taps into early-2000s nostalgia, while Scrubs remains part of the platform’s strategy to retain viewers through familiar, rewatchable series. These titles highlight how legacy content still plays a significant role in subscriber retention, particularly among audiences seeking comfort viewing.

From a pricing perspective, the service is offering a temporary promotion in the UAE, with subscriptions set at AED 34.99 per month for three months between 18 and 31 March 2026. After this period, pricing reverts to the standard monthly rate unless canceled. Like most streaming offers, the discount is structured to encourage sign-ups while relying on auto-renewal for longer-term retention.

Overall, the March lineup reflects a predictable but calculated approach: extend existing franchises, surface trending series, and reinforce the value of older content libraries. For viewers, the appeal will likely depend less on individual headline releases and more on how these elements combine to justify another month of subscription.
