Range Rover has unveiled the Sport SV Carbon, completing its new high-performance luxury SUV range. Sitting alongside the previously released SV Edition ONE, Edition TWO, and the stealth-focused SV Black, the SV Carbon variant introduces a refined focus on lightweight materials, striking carbon detailing, and uncompromising performance.
At its core, the Range Rover Sport SV Carbon is powered by a 4.4-litre twin-turbo V8 mild hybrid petrol engine, producing 635PS and up to 800Nm of torque (with Dynamic Launch Mode). This allows the SUV to hit a top speed of 180mph, making it one of the most powerful Range Rover Sport models to date. Under the hood, even the engine cover receives the carbon fibre treatment, reinforcing the car’s lightweight design approach.

One of the standout features of the SV Carbon is its use of ultra-lightweight materials to deliver performance gains without sacrificing luxury. Optional 23-inch Carbon Fibre Wheels, paired with Carbon Ceramic Brakes and distinctive eight-piston calipers (available in blue, yellow, carbon bronze, or black), contribute to a 76kg total weight reductioncompared to traditional builds. The result? Sharper handling, improved acceleration, and better ride quality.

Visually, the SV Carbon sets itself apart with an aerodynamically honed exterior, including a Forged Carbon Exterior Pack, Active Quad Exhaust surrounds, and an optional Twill Exposed Carbon bonnet. Four standard paint finishes are available, alongside bespoke options from the SV Premium Palette, giving buyers a wide degree of customization.
Inside, the performance-luxury balance continues with Forged Carbon Fibre-backed performance seats, sculpted bolsters, integrated headrests, and illuminated SV logos. Buyers can choose from four interior themes, including leather-free Ultrafabrics™ seating in Cinder Grey/Ebony. Carbon fibre also extends to the seatbacks and dashboard, paired with Moonlight Chrome detailing and SV-illuminated treadplates.

For in-cabin experience, Range Rover’s Body and Soul™ Seat (BASS) technology offers a multi-sensory audio system, blending immersive listening with wellness benefits. Meanwhile, the 6D Dynamics Suspension — featuring hydraulically interlinked air suspension with pitch and roll control — ensures maximum composure whether accelerating, braking, or cornering.
The Range Rover Sport SV Carbon will make its world premiere on 13 August at Range Rover House during Monterey Car Week. It is available to order now via rangerover.com, giving buyers access to one of the most dynamic and visually assertive SUVs in the brand’s history.
