Mercedes-Benz has unveiled the Concept AMG GT XX at GITEX Global 2025 in Dubai, marking the Middle East debut of its latest experimental electric performance vehicle. Displayed at the e& pavilion at the Dubai World Trade Centre, the concept underscores the automaker’s direction toward high-performance electrification, integrating advances in aerodynamics, battery design, drive systems, and software.
The launch extends the partnership between Mercedes-Benz Middle East and e&, the UAE-based technology group. The collaboration continues to use GITEX Global as a platform to present automotive technologies tied to smart mobility, artificial intelligence, and connected infrastructure—areas the UAE is actively investing in as part of its wider digital transformation agenda.

First revealed in Affalterbach in June 2025, the Concept AMG GT XX serves as a development prototype for an upcoming four-door electric sports car. It is built on the AMG Electric Architecture (AMG.EA), the brand’s dedicated platform for next-generation performance EVs. Mercedes-AMG claims the prototype delivers over 1,000 kW of output and can exceed 360 km/h. The system includes three axial flux motors and a high-density battery designed for ultra-fast charging—adding up to 400 kilometers of range (WLTP) in roughly five minutes.
The car drew widespread attention in August 2025 after setting 25 endurance records at Italy’s Nardò test track, including breaking the 24-hour distance record for electric vehicles fourteen times by covering more than 40,000 kilometers in under eight days.
Design-wise, the concept merges experimental materials and new interface ideas. The interior features augmented reality integrations such as a racing helmet display and adaptive 3D seat pads. Mercedes-Benz’s in-house MB.OS operating system powers the vehicle’s digital environment. The exterior introduces illuminated paint segments, headlight-mounted speakers, and the MBUX Fluid Light Panel—elements aimed at exploring the fusion of aesthetics, interactivity, and aerodynamics.

According to Michael Stroband, CEO and President of Mercedes-Benz Middle East, the model represents “the next milestone in AMG’s evolution,” bridging the company’s performance heritage with its electric future. Its presentation at GITEX Global aligns with the UAE’s broader focus on smart mobility and sustainable technology adoption.
Visitors to GITEX Global 2025 can view the Concept AMG GT XX at the e& pavilion in Za’abeel Hall 1 (Z1-A10 & Z1-A20) at the Dubai World Trade Centre from October 13–17, 2025.
