Ford has introduced the all-new Expedition in the Middle East, unveiling a four-trim lineup designed to address the varied lifestyles and driving demands of the region. The SUV, long regarded as Ford’s flagship utility vehicle, has undergone extensive hot-weather testing in the Middle East, reflecting the company’s focus on tailoring performance and features for local conditions.

The new range begins with the Active trim, which strikes a balance between comfort and everyday practicality. Available in both 4×2 and 4×4 variants, it includes features such as a panoramic roof, heated premium seats, and an interior designed for family convenience.
At the other end of the spectrum is the Platinum trim, emphasizing refinement. It is powered by Ford’s 3.5-liter V6 EcoBoost engine (400 hp) paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission. The Platinum’s design leans into comfort and technology, featuring leather seating, 22-inch aluminum wheels, advanced driver-assist systems, and interior amenities like a refrigerator and multi-zone climate control.

For off-road enthusiasts, the Tremor trim offers the most rugged Expedition yet. Equipped with a high-output version of the same V6 EcoBoost engine, it produces 440 hp and 691 Nm of torque. The model adds an off-road suspension system, 22-inch carbonized gray wheels, and Raptor-inspired running boards, aiming to provide capability for serious desert and trail driving while still seating up to eight passengers.

The Stealth Performance trim rounds out the lineup with a sport-oriented package. Sharing the Tremor’s 440-hp engine, it features 22-inch black aluminum wheels, red brake calipers, and a more aggressive stance, appealing to buyers seeking performance with a bold, urban aesthetic.
Across all trims, standard features include a split tailgate, a large 24-inch digital instrument panel, Ford Co-Pilot360 Assist+ safety technology, and a premium B&O sound system. These inclusions underscore Ford’s attempt to deliver consistent value across the model range while letting customers choose trims based on lifestyle needs.

According to Ravi Ravichandran, President of Ford Middle East and North Africa, the diverse trim options are a response to customer feedback across the region, balancing luxury, performance, and practicality. The Expedition is now available for test drives through regional distributors.
