General Motors has brought back its Chevrolet and GMC Truck Mania event to the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), running from 13 August to 13 September across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Oman, and Qatar. The annual promotion arrives on the back of a strong first half for GM’s pickup lineup, with sales up 18% year-on-year — the best H1 performance since 2017.
Beyond the numbers, the customer base for GM trucks in the region is shifting. Younger buyers now account for 20–35%of sales, with models like the GMC Sierra proving popular as a first vehicle among Emiratis in their 20s. Repeat buyers aged 30–50 remain loyal to the Chevrolet Silverado, particularly in Saudi Arabia.
Female ownership is also on the rise, having doubled in the past three years. Women represented 9% of GM truck buyers in 2024, with Kuwait leading at 13%, followed by the UAE (9%) and Qatar (7%). In the UAE, Emirati women aged 30–49 own roughly a third of all GMC Sierras sold, while Kuwaiti women over 30 are repeat Silverado customers.
Truck Mania offers more than showroom displays, with test drives (on- and off-road), personalised consultations, seasonal promotions, and hands-on product experiences. Featured models include:
- Chevrolet Silverado 2025 – From AED 105,000 for the WT base trim to AED 259,500 for the High Country. Available in LT, RST, Trail Boss, ZR2, and High Country trims.
- GMC Sierra 2025 – Starting at AED 145,000 for SLE, up to AED 306,000 for Denali Ultimate. AT4 and Denali trims also available.

- GMC HUMMER EV SUT 2025 – All-electric, 1,000 hp, with features such as CrabWalk and Watts to Freedom. Pricing varies by market and configuration.
The event reflects GM’s efforts to grow its customer base in the GCC while promoting its expanding pickup range, including electric models like the HUMMER EV.
